👤 What payment method do you accept? 

We accept all major credit / debit cards (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX), PayPal and also Apple Pay.

👤 How secure and safe is the checkout process?

When purchasing online using your credit card, all of your information is entered into an SSL secure web page. Your information is then SSL-encrypted and sent directly to our credit card provider's network, where your card and transaction is authorized and approved. Your credit card information is not stored on our servers.

 👤 How will I be charged and in what currency?

All customers are charged at the time of purchase. All payments are in USD. Paying in local currency means your home bank handles the currency conversion; they will convert the currency from USD to local currency for you.

👤 Is there any exchange rate?

All of our transactions are based on $ USD. If your credit card is based in another currency, your order total will be calculated in accordance with the daily exchange rate of the date your card issuer processes the transaction. This will not affect the pricing.  

👤 When and how will I receive my tracking number? 

It will take usually between 3-7 business days.

If you don't have an account with us, please use the same email that you had provided while ordering to create your account.

Once you had logged in, please click on the order number to view your tracking information.

👤 What is the estimated delivery time?

Shipping times vary from product-to-product, demand, and shipping location.

On average the common shipping time is around 3-4 weeks or earlier.

 In very rare cases it can take up to 5 weeks for some certain countries due to its local laws and customs clearance procedures.

Some distant areas can take a bit longer, but we’ll get it to you!

  • The given delivery dates are estimates calculated from the date an order is out for shipment, keeping in mind the transit time.
  • Deliveries might take longer than expected because of incorrect shipping address, bad weather, stringent customs clearance procedures, or any other unavoidable circumstances.

👤 I ordered multiple items, but I have received 1 of them?

If you had ordered more than one item sometimes we ship them in two or more parcels.

This can be due to stock availability at that point in time. Your order will always have all the tracking information if this was the case - you can always check these details on your account at our website.

👤 I paid for my order but did not get a confirmation email?

After payment has been processed, an order confirmation email will be sent to the email listed at the time of checkout.

Once the email confirmation has been sent, your order will begin to be processed.  

 Please be sure to check the Spam or Junk folder, some emails might end up there. If you need further assistance please send us an email via our Contact Us page.

We highly suggest you to save our email address : sales@theambiguousotter.com to your contacts so you won’t miss any further emails regarding your order.

👤 Can I request an order cancelation or change in the order? 

We accept 2 hours* notice to cancel an order or update any changes such as quantity, color, size, or shipping address information.

Send us an email via sales@theambiguousotter.com or just reply to your order confirmation email that we had sent you as soon as possible.

Please note that any request received after 2 hours* period will no longer be accepted because we process orders immediately. Changes to orders cannot be made once processed.

We will still do our best to get a hold or cancel your order after 2 hours* period but no guarantee. If we were able to do so you will be charged a 20% cancellation fee on account of the cost we incur for the item already being in production.

👤 Will, I (the customer) have to pay customs taxes? 

For most countries, you will not have to pay customs, but it depends on where are you located. Please note that import duties and any other additional import charges and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are ultimately the buyer's responsibility.

👤 How can I adjust my watch band?

We provide sizing information on each product page.

Link-type bands such as our stainless steel band and most of our jewelry bands may need to have some links added or removed so that it fits your wrist correctly. 

But don't worry, you can use can use a needle or pin that is appropriate to remove and add the links.

If you're not comfortable doing so, you can also take it to a local watch store (where you'd go to replace watch batteries) or jeweller, and they should be able to do it for you.
